Tillman Hall
January 28th 2006
Historical Background
Built over one hundred years ago by Ben Tillman, namesake of the campus' main building. In 1864, Tillman became seriously ill after leaving school to join the Confederate States Army, resulting in the loss of his left eye.
Embittered by his illness, Tillman grew cruel, whipping and sometimes bludgeoning the prisoners and slaves who worked to construct the college.
This was evident from the stockade still located in the basement of Tillman Hall. It is rumoured that Mr. Tillman used the stockade to control the slaves who were working on the construction of the college.
Acquiring the nickname "Pitchfork Ben" because he theatened to stick a "pitchfork" in President Grover Cleveland. He died an angry old man, and is still said to haunt the upper two floors of Tillman Hall.
Since closed by the university, and deemed unacceptable for class or administrative use, on the right day, you may see a shadowy figure glaring at you from the front portico.
Here is the proof...
You be the judge!

Lancaster EMS Station #2
Investigation date: October 1, 2005
Recorded data: Pictures only, no EVPs captured, EMF meter stopped working halfway through the investigation.
Historical Research: Not much is known about this location. We were able to find out that it was once an old folks home. Sold to Lancaster County for their EMS station in the late 1980's, it now serves as Lancaster EMS Station #2 and Hope House (Location was closed during investigation.)
Findings: We were able to find out from the EMS techs that there have been reports of water running, computers turning on by themselves, phones ringing with no one present.
Equipment Used: EMF Meter, 2 Digital Cameras, 2 Camcorders
Case Analysis: Possibly haunted, although we never experienced anything that was reported by the EMS techs. Only 2 pics were taken of any significance. Case remains open for further investigations.
See photographic evidence link for more pictures.
